About Us

Two Goose is a family-owned and operated barbecue restaurant in Austin, Texas, serving up scratch-made Blue-Collar Texas BBQ with bold Southern flavors. The name Two Goose is a nod to Aaron and his wife’s two daughters; affectionately called “gooses” since day one.

We always aim for high-quality ingredients (yes, that means no seed oils—we fry with beef tallow), and we partner with trusted local suppliers like Blue’s Butcher Shop and Goodstock by Nolan Ryan to bring you the best of Texas.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, watching college football, or bringing the family for a bite, Two Goose is fast, convenient, and full of flavor—just the way barbecue should be.

  • Founded by Aaron, Two Goose is the next chapter in a long line of Texans feeding Texans. Aaron’s family has been in Texas since 1888, and the tradition of serving good food dates back to the 1950s with Aday Dairy Mart in Waxahachie. Now, a few generations later, Aaron is reintroducing the values of non-pretentious, quick, quality food.

  • Justin is the Pitmaster at Two Goose, bringing years of experience from food trucks and the Central Texas barbecue scene. He is best known for his cold-smoked sausages, thoughtful flavors, and a genuine love for feeding people.

Whether he’s developing new recipes or tending the fire before sunrise, Justin’s goal is always the same: to serve barbecue that feels honest, memorable, and uniquely Two Goose.

  • Clint is best known around town for delivering Texas-grown wagyu beef in his mailtruck-turned-butchertruck, which is often parked at Two Goose. We are lucky enough to call him our catering director. Should your office or family ever need a warm and friendly meal, Clint will make sure you’re in good hands.
